Robert Hague, CRNA
We are all saddened to learn of the sudden and tragic loss of Robert Hague, CRNA who has served as president of Intermountain Anesthesia in Idaho Falls, Idaho for the past 5 years. Robert was a dedicated and thoughtful leader, always looking for ways to position his group more securely in the local medical community. He was responsible for establishing a wide range of policies and practices that have greatly enhanced both the financial viability of the practice and its relationship with the administration of the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. It is a testament to his leadership abilities that he was easily re-elected each year. His partners, both physicians and CRNAs, always knew that the group was in good hands so long as he was at the helm. His sudden and unexpected death is a source of great pain and frustration to the entire medical staff and those of us who worked with him so closely. He will be greatly missed for his sense of humor, purpose and compassion. ABC has always enjoyed a special relationship with him not only as supporter but as an enthusiastic contributor to the Communique. We acknowledge this tragic loss to the Idaho Falls medical Community but would note that it is an even greater loss for the entire anesthesia community.
